Learning the language of your body

Your cycle has a lot to say, and you deserve to understand it. Maybe you've wondered why your period feels different from month to month, or you're starting to notice the first whispers of perimenopause. This is a space to get curious, learn alongside others, and come away feeling more at home in your body.

A cycle is counted from the first day of one period to the first day of the next. For most adults, that's somewhere between 24 and 38 days. It's worth checking in with a provider if cycles are often shorter than 24 or longer than 38 days, if 90 days pass without a period and you aren't pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you soak through a pad or tampon every one to two hours or often bleed longer than eight days.
