All about midwifery care
A midwife is a trained health professional who walks with you through pregnancy, birth, and beyond. Today's midwives are licensed clinicians who practice in hospitals, clinics, birth centers, and homes across the country.
There are three paths to midwifery: Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM), Certified Midwife (CM), and Certified Professional Midwife (CPM). In Missouri clinics and birth centers, you'll most often meet certified nurse-midwives.
